For my audience research I have conducted video interviews and a questionaire. The videos for the research can be seen below. The results of the questionaire are as follows. The first question which was asking what type of genre and what artists the audience like. The answers were mainly music artists which are in the charts these days for example the killers and the very popular lady gaga. The second question was what do they do in their spare time to do with music and everyone of the people asked answered that they listen to Ipods/MP3 players. On the third question which asked what attracts you to a magazine many people said big images of the artists and colour so this shows that pictures are a key element in a music magazine. The fourth question asked what music magazines they have read before and why did they like it. Kerrang was a very popular answer and people said they liked this because of the artists involved. Q and NME were other answers as well. The final question asked the audience what they expected to see in a magazine and some of the answers given were a big title, big pictures of the artists and a good layout which told me that I have to have big pictures of each artist to really show to the audience who they are.
