Weekly Progress

This week I completed my preliminary task. I researched school magazines and this helped with my initial ideas to tell me what the codes and conventions of a school magazine were. At the start of the week I hand drawn initial ideas. This helped me to gather my thoughts on what the codes and conventions of a school magazine was and helped me to work out a good layout. I then scanned in my initial ideas to upload them to my blog. The next step was to take my pictures for my school magazine. I took a few pictures for my magazine and I picked out the best ones. The pictures were carefully picked because they had to follow the rules of thirds and had to draw the audience into the magazine. When the pictures were chosen I started work on my school magazine. This had to follow the codes and conventions used in a magazine.
