I have chosen to analyse this contents page because it has a very good layout. There are two pictures to give further information on what is going on in the magazine. There isnt too much happening on this contents page which makes it easier to read. The title of the page comes across the top which is a common place to put a title and can be seen in many different music magazines. The pages and numbers are on the left hand side in an ordered way which makes the magazine look more sophisticated and formal. The page numbers are separated from the page titles in a red font so that the audience can determine the page numbers from the titles. Each part is separated with lines to section each bit off to show a nice orderly page. The Q magazine has continued its red, white and black colour scheme from the front cover to the contents page to show more continuation. The layout and simplicity of the magazine suggests it is for a more sophisticated and older market.
