On the front cover of the rolling stone magazine the image of Zac Efron is very prominent and takes up most of the page. The audience will be drawn to this because it is the only picture on the front cover and Zac Efron is very popular and someone who likes him might be attracted to the magazine because there is a picture of him. The picture of him goes over the title as well which just shows how big of an importance he is to the magazine. The title is a two word title in a different style font to make it stand out. All down the left hand side there are the titles of some of the things included in the magazine. This is a common convention because it can be seen on the front cover of the Kerrang magazine and many others. The main title of the things included is in a large font to show importance and also to indicate that this might be more of interest to the audience than the other ones. The main title is also in a vibrant pink font which is more associated with girls and for the rest of the titles they have gone for an orange and grey colour scheme and yellow lines to separate them off. The white background of everything makes the picture and all the fonts stand out. There is a barcode in the bottom right hand corner which is in the same place as the Kerrang magazine and a convention of most music magazines. The target audience is teenage girls because there is a picture of Zac Efron to aim the magazine at this audience. Also there is some pink font on there which is usually associated with females.
