This is a simple but effective double page spread. Like the double page spread on the kerrang magazine this one is dominated by the picture of the music artist Lily Allen. The audience will be drawn to this because Lily is looking right at them. Lily is against a white background to make her stand out on the page. Another feature which I have seen on this magazine and Kerrang is the use of a quote as a title. However this time the title is much bigger than the one on Kerrang and uses different sizes of font to create an interesting and attractive font. The use of a drop letter on the columns of writing is a code and convention which is often used in music magazines. Despite the good use of blending colours and making them stand out, there is lack of colour which may not attract the reader of the magazine.
