Unlike the other double page spread of Lily Allen this one has lots of things happening on it. The title of "The Teenagers" stands out with its blue background and black font because of the white simple background where the text is on. Like the other magazines this one has a full page picture of the band. This will draw an audience into the page because it will show what the band are like. The text is split into two columns which goes quite well on the page but NME could of made it better by making it into three columns which is more usually seen in a magazine. In the middle of the text they have a quote from the band which is in a blue background and black font. This stands out against the black text and breaks the text up which is a good technique. The part of the page down the right hand side has nothing to do with the article shown on most of the page. I dont think this is a good technique because the audience might get distracted by this. The part above the main title, where it says "NME loves" is a good technique to draw people in because if someone likes NME a lot they might think they like this band because NME do.
